ICHCAP, Collaborating with young YouTubers

 
As part of ICHCAP’s ICH Creators Program, new YouTube video contents on ICH in the Asia-Pacific region will be created by young creators. The program was launched in 2022, and it continues to fund new creators producing ICH related video contents each year. For 2024, two young YouTubers in the field of craft production and travel were selected for the ICH Creators Program.

The national training on traditional craftsmanship, design and entrepreneurship in Margilan took place from March 30 to April 8, 2024 in the city of Margilan, Uzbekistan. The national training on traditional craftsmanship, design and entrepreneurship in Margilan took place from March 30th to April 8th, 2024 in the city of Margilan, Uzbekistan. The training was organized by UNESCO, with the support of the local authorities of Ferghana province and in close cooperation with the Hunarmand Association of Craftspeople and Folk Artists of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Margilan Crafts Development Centre.

#HeritageAlive presents the Short Film Festival

 
#HeritageAlive invites accredited NGOs to submit short films on the theme of living heritage and cultural traditions. Selected films will be presented during the activities of the ICH NGO Forum on the sidelines of the ICH UNESCO Intergovernmental Session 19.COM, to be held from December 2nd until December 7th, 2024 in Paraguay.

CHA introduces the K-Heritage System and heritage protection system to key local stakeholders in Timor-Leste

 
The Cultural Heritage Administration (Choi Eungchon, Administrator; CHA) held a briefing session on April 3 at 1:30 p.m. in the CHA’s conference room at the Daejeon Government Complex to introduce the Korean government`s essential National Heritage policies to a delegation of 18 officials from Timor-Leste. The delegation, including Gil Paulino dos Santos Oliveira, Head of the Arts and Culture Bureau of the Secretary of State for Arts and Culture, visited Korea for a policy training program.
