The ICOM is calling papers for the upcoming summer 2025 issue of Museum International, aiming to provide insights and reflections from museum professionals on the three sub-themes identified for the 27th ICOM General Conference in Dubai,November 2025 "The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities." The identified three key sub-themes are : Intangible Heritage, Youth Power, and New Technologies., all unified under the central theme of youth. The issue is expected to be published in collaboration with Taylor & Francis/Routledge in summer 2025, with a submission deadline of August 7, 2024.

The contributed papers are expected to address the following topics -

· Youth practicing intangible heritage in museum contexts

· The power of technology in intangible heritage

· Youth and museum governance

· Youth leading museum activities

· Youth driving changes in museums

· Intangible heritage as a medium of intercultural dialogue for the youth

· Intangible heritage, youth and social media trends

· Ethics and specificities of studies on young visitors
