Dear ICH community,

Jeonju City has discovered exemplary cases of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding activities that contribute to the protection and value of intangible cultural heritage of various countries and communities around the world.

To establish social solidarity and identity through intangible cultural heritage and to develop an international community in the future, the Jeonju International Awards for Promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage (JIAPICH) was developed.

JIAPICH is taking applications from individuals, communities, NGOs, and others. For further details regarding the criteria and application process and to download the application visit www.jiapich.org.

Applications for candidates for the JIAPICH began on 1 March 2021 and will continue until 30 April 2021. So please apply before it is too late.
