On November 20th, ICHCAP held the 2023 Advisory Committee Meeting at the National Intangible Heritage Center.

This year’s meeting reviewed ICHCAP’s key activities in 2023 and the 2024 project plans. The Advisory Committee Members, appointed last year in the fields of international cooperation, intangible cultural heritage, cultural policy, and public relations, gave various opinions and advices for strengthening ICHCAP’s future activities. Particularly, discussions focused on sharing details on upcoming international workshop related to the Overall Result Framework (ORF) of the 2003 Convention, scheduled early next year in Jeonju, in collaboration with UNESCO and Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea. Additionally, the Advisory Committee Members reviewed the current strategies on digital content development and gave diverse recommendations on ICHCAP’s overall promotion strategies.

ICHCAP has consistently enhanced the efficiency of its operations through annual Advisory Committee Meetings and evaluated its project outcomes and operational directions with reflecting constructive opinions and advices from the Committee Members.
