With this opportunity, ICHCAP is planning to contribute to the revitalisation of the Silk Roads Living Heritage Network (SRLHN) and promote information sharing and cooperation among Silk Roads-related organisations. In addition, ICHCAP is also expecting to organise cooperation for research, surveys, management, and utilization of intangible heritage and documentary heritage in the Silk Roads area.
To note, Silk Roads Living Heritage Network is a networking programme based on experiences and achievements obtained from the collaborative work of UNESCO-ICHCAP in the living heritage field in Central Asia, which aims to strengthen international cooperation among local communities along the Silk Roads and promote a culture of peace in keeping with the spirit of the 2003 UNESCO Convention.
